What do we want? Safe rail! When do we want it? Right Now!

Someone needs to speak for the trees and the water...at a time when we are being called on by our state to clean and protect our waterways and lake - we must speak out. This rally is for safe and responsible freight rail for all - the water, wildlife, the land, and us - in Shelburne and all of Vermont.

When: Sun May 1
What: starting at 2 pm meet at Shelburne Community School parking circle, where we will commence marching, banging on pots and pans (BYO pot and spoon), and chanting as loud as we can. We will walk to the town green and at around 2:30 will have a short rally, with music and song from the Meatpackers, speakers, info tables, and pizza generously supplied by Cucina Antica.
