I will be leading a “Vernal Pool Exploration” program on Saturday, April 30th from 10:00 a.m. to noon. We’ll start with a brief slide presentation and discussion, in the community room of the Hunger Mountain Coop, on the ecology of these unique, ephemeral wetland habitats and the fascinating creatures they support, then we’ll carpool to a vernal pool in Hubbard Park to observe the egg masses of wood frogs and spotted salamanders.
$8 Member-Owners/$10 Non-Members/$5 for children
Please register in advance at the Coop. T: 802-223-8000.
