HACJC Hosts Bridges Out of Poverty

Past event
May 26, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, May 27, 2016

The Hardwick Area Community Justice Center will be hosting Bridges Out of Poverty on May 26th and 27th. We are excited to be offering the two-day training for free to our local community partners, neighbors and volunteers. This training will explore the impacts of generational poverty, review research on the causes of poverty, explore hidden rules and assumptions of economic class, examine the impact of poverty on family structures, as well as identify ways in which the information can be used to improve relationships and outcomes for individuals, organizations, and communities. All Hardwick Area (Greensboro, Walden, Stannard, Woodbury, Craftsbury) Community members are invited to attend for FREE. A small fee will be charged to those from outside our area.

Please respond as soon as possible with serious commitments only to Karen Holmes at 802-279-7918 or karen.vogan@gmail.com. Seating is limited and we want to make sure that the training is available to as many people as possible.

Special thanks to our community partners for your generous donations and assistance: Hardwick Area Food Pantry, Heartbeet Lifesharing, Community Allies, Positive Pie, Craftsbury General Store.
