Join us in keeping Wallingford Clean and beautiful by participating in the annual Green-Up Day. The Wallingford Conservation Commission will be handing out special Green-Up Day trash bags from 8:30 am to 11:00 am at the Rotary Building on Main Street and at the Transfer Station on Waldo Lane. It is important that you sign up at one of these two locations. For your safety remember to wear bug spray and sun screen as necessary. Be tick smart. Wear long pants, avoid tall grass and check for ticks upon your arrival home. Do not remove suspected toxic or hazardous waste. Inform members of the Conservation Commission who can then inform the proper authorities.
