There will be a Community Clean-Up Day at the North Avenue Cooperative (formerly Farrington's Mobile Home Park) this Saturday, April 30, from 10 am until 2 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for the North Avenue Coop residents and nearby neighbors to do some spring cleaning and get rid of lots of junk. This event is being sponsored by New North End City Councilors Tom Ayres, Dave Hartnett, and Kurt Wright, and Tim Bouvier, president of the North Ave. Coop. Additional support is provided by the Chittenden Solid Waste District, Casella Waste Management, Hannaford, and the Mobil Shortstop North Avenue.

Volunteers are always welcome. If you can pitch in a few hours to assist your neighbors with this community clean-up effort, it would be greatly appreciated. We'll see you on Saturday!
