Expectations of flowers in May as a result of April precipitation will be on the minds of BrattleMasters this Thursday when the local Toastmasters club meets at the Marlboro College Graduate Center, 28 Vernon St., 2nd floor, Brattleboro.
Toastmaster of the Evening Lee Ives Tice of East Dummerston set the meeting theme of "April Showers Bring May Flowers." Toastmasters may elect to incorporate the theme into the three scheduled speeches, evaluations and extemporaneous speaking exercises.
Guests are always welcome and refreshments are provided. There is no pressure to speak, and members are working at their own pace and with assigned mentors to help them meet their speaking and leadership goals.
