Come learn how to become a member of Hour for Our Community, a local organization that facilitates the exchange of services among its members without the exchange of money. An hour of service to any member earns a "time-credit" that entitles you to an hour of service from any member. Members have full control over what services they offer and from whom they request services. The organization maintains a database of services and tracks members' "time-credit" balance.

The next orientation is Saturday May 14th from 10:30 to noon at the Bennington Free Library. The core values of the organization, as well as your rights and responsibilities will be explained. Following a Q & A session, there will be a demonstration of the software and the opportunity for those who wish to enroll and begin exchanging.
