Help STRIKE OUT HUNGER in Vermont and enjoy a fun evening of bowling with friends! This fundraiser will take place on Friday, June 3rd at 7pm at the Bowlerama (158 S Main St #2, Rutland). The cost is $15 and includes 2 games, shoe rental, snacks and a donation to the Rutland Meals Challenge. There will be prizes for the top youth and adult bowlers, red pin prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

The Rutland Meals Challenge is an annual food packaging event that takes place at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church every January. Over 300 community volunteers gather to assemble bulk ingredients into packaged meals that are then donated to Rutland County food shelves and the Vermont Food Bank. Since its inception in 2013, Rutland Meals Challenge has packaged and donated over 125,000 meals! The money raised at the Benefit Bowl will be used to purchase bulk ingredients for our next food packaging event.

Bowlers are asked to collect donations from their coworkers, friends and neighbors for the Rutland Meals Challenge and bring them to the Benefit Bowl. There will be a prize for the bowler who brings in the most donations and an additional prize drawing for all bowlers who collected donations. Donation forms & registration available at http://vtmealschallenge.myevent.com (advance registration appreciated, but not required!)
