This is a reminder that the last of the three Louis Malle films in our series will be shown this Wednesday, April 27, at the Savoy Theater in Montpelier. The film, Vanya on 42nd Street, released in 1994, is Malle’s last. It is an ingenious restaging of the Chekhov play Uncle Vanya. Rick Winston, our film scholar, will host.
