Reiki/Bars Mary Jo McCarthy
Mary Jo McCarthy has been a Reiki practitioner for over ten years. In addition, she is trained in Access BARS, which is a hands-on practice that releases energy from 32 points located in and around the head. When these points are gently touched, they release anything that doesn’t allow you to receive. A session can change your beliefs around control, joy, healing, relationships, money and more, leaving you with space to receive the energy of you. It also reduces anxiety and stress and leaves you feeling like you have had a wonderful head massage! Mary Jo’s healing sessions may consist of either Reiki or BARS or a combination of both treatments. They are always enhanced with essential oils.
Tarot card readings Holly Lukens
For more than 50 years, Holly has been facilitating inner clarity through psychic readings. She specializes in Tarot and chakras and is also a fourth-generation tea leaf reader. Her aim is to help others understand their options and energies so they can make choices for their highest and best good. Holly often does Tarot card readings on Saturdays at Spirit Dancer in Burlington.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Jacquie Bolster
EFT is a mind/body modality that combines tapping (gently on the face and body in a specific sequence) on energy meridians / acupressure points with intention (mindful attention to thoughts and feelings). It can be a simple yet very effective stress-relief technique. It can also be a powerful strategy to address significant issues including physical or emotional pain, phobias, anxiety, and more. It is a self-help tool easily learned and widely applicable.
Craniosacral Therapy Jacquie Bolster
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, yet powerful manual therapy that has proven to be very effective in relieving pain and dysfunction in the body. Working through the craniosacral system, (the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord), the body is urged to self-correct imbalances and repair injury,release restrictions in soft tissue and tensions deep in the body, and thereby relieve pain and reestablish normal function. People often experience a sense of relaxation after a therapeutic session. Jacquie is a Physical Therapist who incorporates both EFT and Craniosacral Therapy among other modalities in her practice.
Numerology/Psychic readings Robyn Niper
Unlike astrology, which uses astrological signs to describe us, Numerology uses numbers. Knowing more about your numbers can help you to create a more successful life. Robyn is a local healer, clairvoyant and teacher. He has taught many classes in St. Albans at his home and in the Burlington area at Spirit Dancer. Robyn brings his clairvoyance to all of his healing modalities. He is willing to teach a short class in either Numerology or A Course In Miracles if there is enough interest.
Massage/Reflexolology Roz Richard
Roz is a graduate of Touchstone Healing Arts in Burlington and has been practicing massage and other body modalities since 2005. Her skill in listening to the body enables her to customize the body work she does with her clients as her style varies according to their needs. Massage, reflexology, deep tissue, trigger points. Lomi, cupping, hot stones and myofascial release are among the treatments you could receive from Roz. She has training in geriatrics and enjoys working with people of all ages. In addition to working at Burlington Body Works and a local chiropractic office, Roz has her own business called Healing Hands Will Travel.
