YOU CAN HELP OPEN THE NEW SITE IN CRAFTSBURY VILLAGE!

With demolition complete, the new community greenspace just needs a people-powered cleanup before it can open for public use. A community work day is on for Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 321 South Craftsbury Road. Volunteers of all ages are invited to pitch in to sort and stack salvaged wood, pull nails, rake and seed the front lawn, pick up remaining debris, and stain the sugar house.

Please wear sturdy shoes or boots, and bring work gloves and tools. Garden rakes, claw hammers, pry bars, loppers, and bow saws are helpful. The forecast Saturday is for sunshine and temperatures in the upper 40s, a perfect day to be outdoors and help this new community resource come into being!
