Car Seat Recycling event coming up on May 21 from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. in Barre at the ARCC, 540 N. Main Street.

Residents of Barre City, Barre Town, Berlin, Bradford, Calais, Chelsea, East Montpelier, Fairlee, Hardwick, Middlesex, Montpelier, Orange, Plainfield, Tunbridge, Walden, Washington, Williamstown, and Woodbury are eligible to participate in the recycling program.

Car seats have to be taken apart so that the plastic is separated from the textiles and buckles. They will have a station set up for this purpose, with staff on hand to help.
