The City of Montpelier is sponsoring a community forum on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 with Gary Toth, an expert in community planning with the national organization Project for Public Spaces (www.pps.org), to discuss how we can improve the use of public spaces in our community. The forum will be from 7-9 pm in the Ethan Allan Room at the Capitol Plaza Hotel.
Project for Public Spaces is a nonprofit planning, design and educational organization that is dedicated to helping people create and improve the use of public spaces. PPS was founded in 1975 and has completed projects all over the world. Mr. Toth will discuss the principles of successful design in public spaces and will facilitate a conversation with residents and city officials on how Montpelier can best use its assets.
Please join us in this important discussion about how we can improve the use our public spaces in Montpelier.
