Service at 10 AM with Jeff Taft-Dick We call ourselves Unitarian-Universalists. Prior to 1961 these were two separate and distinct denominations. In this service we look at the roots of these two churches, what were the differences between the two and more importantly what were the commonalities that led to the merger just 55 years ago. We will also briefly look at how UUism has evolved since the merger. Finally, we will examine the question as to why there are not more of us. Many non-members refer to themselves as "closet UUs". Why don't they come out of the closet and join us?

Held at Unitarian Universalist Church, 21 Fairground Road, Springfield. All welcome!
