The Root Radical Lending Library will be celebrating our First Year of Existing with an Anniversary Party on Sunday May 1, 3:00-6:00pm, at the Root Social Justice Center! Our unique collection features books, zines, and other materials focusing on activist and social change movements.
There will be SNACKS, awesome radical library people, an outdoor BOOK SALE, and introduction to our SEED LIBRARY, with a SEED & PLANT SWAP, and a fun for the whole family SEED BALL MAKING activity!
Take advantage of this event to celebrate with us and get to know our projects, as well as get a library card if you haven’t already.
This event is open to everyone, and the space is wheelchair accessible. Please come scent free.

The Root Radical Lending Library exists as a resource for the activist community of Brattleboro, VT, and specifically, to support the community of individuals affiliated with the Root Social Justice Center, and more generally, for those affiliated with all activist and social change movements. It is a place where people working for justice can gather, learn, grapple with ideas, and develop strategies, and where people who are new to activist work can introduce themselves to some of the important history, ideas, traditions, and individuals that comprise activist movements and communities.
