The City of Montpelier sponsoring a community forum on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from 7:00 to 9:00 at Capitol Plaza with Gary Toth, an expert in community planning with the national organization Project for Public Spaces, to discuss ways in which the city can improve the use of downtown public areas. I went to a similar public forum with this group in Montpelier many years ago and they are first-rate. This forum is particularly relevant now that the city is moving forward with acquisition of the Carr Lot. If you are interested in how space in our downtown is used, you should plan to attend!
