Early Spring Trailwork Day at Camel's Hump Nordic

Past event
Apr 23, 2016, 9 AM to 1 PM

Hi Skiers and woods lovers,

It's a great time of year to be in the woods! You can see many features of the landscape that go into hiding once the leaves are out. So... this Saturday you should take advantage of the opportunity to join us from 9-1pm at CHNSA to do some early season trailwork. We'll meet at the Bert White Rd parking lot at 9am. We'll be working with some UVM volunteers on clearing a portion of an old trail, long neglected and un-skied. "Upper Woodchuck Ramble" is a dramatic route that runs along the base of a major ledge outcropping. We'll plan on lunch atop the ledges with as good a close-up view of Camel's Hump as one can get! Bring heavy duty loppers or a pruning saw if you have them. We can use another chainsaw as well. Please RSVP to .

Happy Spring! And thanks!!

Dave Brautigam, President CHNSA
