Save the date for a lively and idiosyncratic concert of old-style songs and stories, presented by Woodbury's own Suzy and Goddard Graves, formerly of Red Fescue & The Lawn Rollers. To be held in the sonically and visually rich sanctuary of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 39 Washington Street, in downtown Barre. Proceeds to benefit the church's work for hospitality and against homelessness. Admission by donation, with suggested minimum seven dollars, though in the spirit of hospitality, nobody will be turned away. If you enjoy the sounds of the original Carter Family, Grayson & Whitter, Ray & Ina Patterson, old Gospel favorites, and a teasin' taste of classic Bluegrass, y'all come. It will doubtless be the only show this season with material by The Holy Modal Rounders and Bertolt Brecht. This is a great room for singing, and audience participation will be encouraged -- call it "a regular od-time sing-song". The program is non-sectarian and family-friendly. Stay tuned to FPF for further exciting details!
