April 23 Grand Opening of the Bixby Used Book Sale.

Friends of the Bixby spent the winter refreshing the book collection and shelving new additions. Creative Space Artists will be offering their work for exhibit and sale through 14. Paintings, pottery, fairy houses,photography, candles, woodcuts and fiber arts are among the selections. The opening theme of the Book Sale will be “Fashionista, make something old something new”. Besides our usual low-priced books, CDs and DVDs, we will feature priced-to-sell items of vintage and fashion interest. Something for crafters—books, beads, costume jewelry, items to upcycle. Sweet hankies to convert to baby bonnets, buttons to recreate into jewelry, hair ornamentation for the next Carnivale.
