The Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) will host a training session for people interested in community organizing at the Hardwick United Church on Wednesday, April 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. CAE has been working on a Listening Project since October to understand the economic justice issues facing our community. CAE has been working with InterValleyProject lead organizer Ken Galdston who will be training those interested on April 27, along with Leah Torrey of United Valley Interfaith based in rural New Hampshire. We have begun to reach out to the corners of the Northeast Kingdom in hopes of making this project something that our whole region can become involved in and benefit from. Want to know more? E-mail CAE Community Projects Coordinator Bethany M. Dunbar at bethany@hardwickagriculture.org or call (802) 472-5362 ext. 204 before Monday. This training will be free and open to the public but space is limited and a reservation is mandatory. This session is sponsored by CAE, the United Church of Craftsbury, and the Grange.
