Lamoille River Paddlers’ Trail Community Social, Paddle, And Volunteer Opportunity

You are invited to the 1st annual Lamoille River Paddlers’ Trail Community Social, scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, May 4th at the Landmark Tavern in Johnson!

Join other river enthusiasts to celebrate recent accomplishments and learn about projects planned for 2016. Starting at 6:00 pm will be appetizers, drinks, a raffle, dinner available for purchase, presentations and a slideshow. There will be also be a group paddle to the tavern, leaving from Sloping Falls at 5:00 pm. Help is also needed to install river access stairs at the site during the afternoon (1:30-4:30). Space is limited - RSVP by Monday, May 2nd to noah@vermontriverconservancy.org.

The Lamoille River Paddlers’ Trail is an emerging, community effort to develop new opportunities for paddling and fishing along the Lamoille River. Our vision is of a network of well maintained river access points, primitive campsites, and portage trails from the river’s headwaters west to Lake Champlain.
