The public is welcome to join in a brief dedication ceremony commemorating the Village of Chiselville on April 30th at 11:00AM in the parking area adjacent to the north entrance of the bridge. A roadside plaque will be unveiled and brief talks will be given by Jim Hayden and Ted Hopkins regarding the history of the Chiselville Covered Bridge and the 19th Century water powered Chisel Shops that operated in the gorge beneath the bridge. Examples of edge tools made in the Chisel Shops will be on display courtesy of the Ted Hopkins Antique Collection.
