On Saturday, April 23rd, at 2:00 p.m. in the South Burlington Community Library, the Vermont Italian Club will sponsor a talk and slide show by Weybridge resident Grace Weber. Grace, a fluent speaker of Italian, has been volunteering for several years in Sicily with Libera, a contemporary anti-mafia movement. Libera holds properties confiscated from convicted mafia bosses, rededicating these lands to activities in the public interest, operating with volunteer labor. Grace will present a slide show and discuss her experiences in Sicily.
