Button Up Day Celebration in Weybridge

Past event
Oct 5, 2013

In case you haven’t heard the news: Weybridge is the first town in Vermont to reach its weatherization goal in the Vermont Home Energy Challenge. That’s 10 homes! And we are sure to exceed that goal with work in progress or yet to begin on several more. We are in the running to win $10,000 for our town!

Everyone is invited to celebrate this accomplishment this Saturday, Oct. 5, 9:30-11:00 at the Recycling Center. There will be free apple pie, cider doughnuts, apples, coffee, and cider for everyone. It’s Button Up Day in Vermont, and this is how we’re celebrating it in Weybridge.

Members of the Weybridge Energy Committee will be on hand to answer your questions about:
• How you can get involved in the home energy challenge
• FREE home energy visits to get you started with weatherizing your home
• Vouchers for free energy savings kits (including a smart power strip) from Efficiency Vermont
• Win LED bulbs in a raffle.

It’s not too late to get started on buttoning up your home! Fall is a great time to think about reducing fuel bills, increase comfort inside, and reduce your carbon footprint.
