Donahue to Present "Mending Wall" at Sterling College on Earth Day

This Earth Day, there will be a talk at Sterling College about the history of land use in New England, as well as a future vision for regional conservation and food systems.

Brian Donahue, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at Brandeis University, will present “Mending Wall: Wildlands, Woodlands, Farmlands, and a Vision for New England Conservation” at Simpson Hall, Classroom 3 on Friday, April 22 at 7 p.m.

Donahue is the author of Reclaiming the Commons: Community Farms and Forests in a New England Town and The Great Meadow: Farmers and the Land in Colonial Concord. He is also a lead author of Wildlands and Woodlands: A Vision for the New England Landscape and A New England Food Vision: Healthy Food for All, Sustainable Farming and Fishing, Thriving Communities.

This talk is free and open to the public.
