Back by popular demand! Waterford resident Janet Steinert joins us for an encore performance. Facing retirement at 62, Janet “Slow n’ Steady” Steinert set out to complete the 2185.9-mile trek from Georgia to Maine. Her goal was to hike the entire Appalachian Trail. She completed the trail, but her goal changed as she traveled through her journey of a lifetime. Hear about her adventures, her challenges and her joys as she struggled to fulfill her dream of hiking the Appalachian Trail. This presentation is free and open to all.
