Past event
May 5, 2016, 4 to 5 PM

Come meet John and Nancy Hayden's worms....and take a bin home! See The Farm Between's vermicomposting system in action, learn how they use the finished compost on the farm and hear about applications for compost tea. Maybe John will even share his compost tea recipe with us! This event will take place at The Farm Between,at 3727 VT Route 15 in Jeffersonville.

Bring your own rubbermaid bin or lidded five gallon bucket or other opaque container and we will show you how to make it into a wonderful home for hungry worms. We will demonstrate how to build one bin at the event and one lucky raffle winner will get to take that bin home. There is a $5 cost for a container of red wiggler worms to fill your bin. Come with questions and excitement! You don't want to miss it!

Please RSVP at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0a45adaa2ea1fd0-build or by calling 888-7317. You can attend without RSVPing but it sure helps us plan better!

This event counts for Master Composter education hours!

Discounted Green Cones ($100), $50 Soil Savers and $10 kitchen collectors are available during this event. Cash or check only.
