Upstairs in the foyer of BTV, complete with high ceilings, expansive windows, and a life-size metal elephant sculpture, guests will find a wide variety of author events. Guaranteed to be an informative and entertaining day, attendees of all ages will experience hands-on workshops, read aloud and story-telling sessions, and panels that take place throughout the day, culminating in an evening ticket-only event where guests will have a chance to mingle with the authors. Throughout the day and evening, we will be holding a silent auction with a variety of items to bid on. Auction items include the opportunity to name a character in B.A. Shapiro’s next novel, attend a dinner for six with an author at a lovely home, a Burton luggage bag, two Montreal Canadiens hockey tickets, and much more.

Proceeds benefit Stern Center learners through the Cynthia K. Hoehl Institute for Excellence, which supports access to professional learning for educators and instructional services for students. Cynthia K. Hoehl, a former teacher, established and supported the CKHIE as part of her vision for helping all children learn.
