Mindfully Managing Stressful Moments

Please join us for this FREE Parent Workshop, hosted by Discovery Preschool.

Monday April 25th 6:30-8:30 pm in Brand Hall (on the property of Faith United Methodist Church, 899 Dorset Street, S.Burlington)

Presenters: Marilyn Neagley, director of Talk about Wellness and co-editor of Educating from the Heart, Elementary school counselor, Carol Wheeler, and Retired Kindergarten teacher, Nancy Baker.

The workshop will cover:

1. Definition of and overview of mindfulness-based approaches.

2. Putting the oxygen on oneself before helping others.

3. Early childhood application: breathing practices, mindful movement, social and emotional learning and resources.
