The water interconnection between Depot Street and Bridge Street will be replaced Tuesday evening, October 1st, after 8:00 PM. Excavation to locate the pipes and valves will commence during the afternoon, but no water service interruptions will happen until after 8:00 PM. THE ONLY AREAS AFFECTED will be Depot Street and a small area of Bridge Street between Rt 2 and Depot Street. All other areas of town will continue to have normal water service. The outage is expected to last four hours. Following this, the remaining sections of waterline will be installed, and Depot Street will be able to be isolated from the rest of the system.
