Snowy Owls: Special Benefit at Richmond Free Library Oct. 4

On October 4th, Denver Holt, Director of the Owl Research Institute in Charlo, Montana, will present a program on Snowy Owls. Denver Holt has been studying Snowy Owls for over 20 years, and is known to some as “Mr. Owl.” He is the author of two children's’ books, and numerous articles on owl natural history. For more information about the Owl Research Institute see http://www.owlinstitute.org/ Denver will be speaking at at the Richmond Free Library, Richmond, Vermont at 7:00 pm. On July 3rd, flash flooding destroyed the main access to the museum and badly damaged many walking paths. Although this is a free event, donations will be greatly appreciated and go towards Birds of Vermont Museum’s flood repair fund.
