Green Mountain College Programming Board and the Office of Student Involvement are excited to announce that Brother Ali w/ DJ Last Word will be performing for Spring Concert on Saturday, April 23rd!

-The concert will take place in Withey Dining Hall. You must be 18 years or older. Limited tickets.
-Tickets are available for alumni and community members for $15 as general admission.
-Pre-registered guests can pick up their wristbands (tickets) starting at 4:00pm until 10:00pm in Withey Lobby.
**On April 23 (the day of the concert), if tickets are still available, non-students will be charged $20 per ticket.
MUSIC SCHEDULE:
9:00pm-9:45pm: Pre-Show with Boo Agee and DJ Miles
10:00pm-11:45pm: Main Concert- Brother Ali Performs w/ DJ Last Word
Brother Ali is a highly respected Hip Hop artist, speaker and activist from Minneapolis. His resume includes six critically acclaimed albums, mentorships with Iconic Hip Hop legends Chuck D and Rakim, and performances on late night talk shows with Conan O Brien and Jimmy Fallon. He’s been the subject of Al-Jazeera and NPR pieces and was a keynote speaker at this year’s Nobel Peace Prize Forum. Brother Ali's latest album “Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color” is his manifesto on the political, socioeconomic and cultural suffering in modern American life, as well as a declaration of hope and possibility for a brighter future.
Additionally, local FOOD VENDORS will be in Withey Atrium from 10:30 pm to 12:30 am, and include: Farmer’s Market food, Full Belly Deli, Mediterranean Mix, Taste of Asia, and Rays of Sunshine. Bring CASH.
OPEN EVENTS before the concert, include:
1:00pm-4pm: Rock Wall, Lawn Games, Face Painting
Location: Moses Lawn and Withey Garden.
People under 18 years require parents to sign a waiver to participate in rock wall.
1:00pm-5pm: Chalk artist, Mechanical Bull, Smoothie Bike, Inflatable Obstacle Course
Location: Front of Withey, Cree Parking Lot, Withey Garden and Moses Lawn.
People under 18 years require parents to sign a waiver to participate in Mechanical Bull.
3:00pm-7pm: Henna and Tarot Card, Oxygen Bar and Massage Therapist
Location: Withey, Withey Lobby.
People under 18 years require parents to sign a waiver to participate in Oxygen Bar.
