If you are a Veteran or know one, please spread the word about our first Veterans' Expo being held April 23rd from 10-3 at the American Legion Post #59 at 16 Stowe St. Waterbury. Exhibitors will be representatives of local,state, and federal agencies such as Veterans Count, VT Veteran Outreach, VT DOL, the Family Assistance Center and more. Information will be available for those seeking to purchase real estate using a VA loan. Nicole Hayes from Northfield Savings Bank will be on hand to answer questions about VA loans. Filomena Siner from Century 21 will be on hand to showcase available homes in the area and answer buyer and seller questions. The Law Offices of Fred V Peet will be on hand to answer legal questions and home inspector The Brickker will be on hand to explain the home inspection process. Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase. It's open to the public, so if you want to learn what services are available to help a friend or loved one, but you are not a veteran yourself, feel free to come see us! We hope to make this an annual event.
