Essex Republicans Monthly Meeting & Presidential Caucus

Essex Grange Hall, Rt 15
On April 18th the Essex Republican's regular monthly meeting at the Essex Grange Hall on Rt 15 will feature guest speaker and gubernatorial candidate Bruce Lisman. Come and get a chance to meet Bruce, learn about his campaign, and ask the candidate a few questions.
(At a future date, we will also host Lt. Governor Phil Scott to join us later in the summer when his schedule allows)
Along with hearing remarks from Mr. Lisman, the committee will also hold it's Presidential Delegate Caucus. Any registered voter in Essex who identifies as a Republican (and is not a member of another party) may be nominated to represent our town at the State Convention on May 21st, where we will choose Vermont's delegates to the National Convention. So if you've never been involved in politics before, but want to get your feet wet, we warmly welcome you to join us at our upcoming meeting. This month's meeting is a unique learning opportunity that only comes around once every 4 years because of the caucus.
I will also be there, so please feel free to stop by to share your thoughts or questions about any pending legislation or other matters. It will also be a great chance to get to know some of your like-minded neighbors who also want to see Vermont get on a track towards financial stability. Hope you can join us next Monday night!
