On Thursday, April 14 at 1:30 at the Richmond Library, author Ilame
Lund will talk about growing up during the Great Depression on a small
farm in Iowa. She was the daughter of a single mother and this made
life especially difficult. She's published her memories of this time
and will read excerpts from her book, Holy Cows, as well as from the
book she's working on now. She'll also talk about her writing
process. Join us and perhaps you'll be inspired to write your own
