Re-Wilding our Bodies
Thursdays 6:30-8pm
4 week series
April 14- May 5

Humans are animals, though currently in danger of becoming completely domesticated through a dominant culture of sitting in cars and at desks, walking on flat surfaces and by prevailing implicit beliefs around what is acceptable movement.
We have highly intelligent bodies that have evolved over millions of years to support life as movement; we evolved to be in motion. As living ecosystems, we have worlds of knowing available to us if we choose to inhabit ourselves differently.
Listen to what your body aches for. Re-inhabit your relationship to yourself as bones, organs and animal self and change the way you know the world.

Classes to include guided movement exercises to take us outside the box of "sitting, standing, walking" culture and re-awaken organic movement patterns. Influences of the Axis Syllabus research framework, Authentic Movement, BodyMind Centering and somatic re-patterning will balance the classes with anatomy, physiology, neuroscience and a healthy dose of yum.
Expect to embody your anatomy and start re-wilding yourself.

Investment for the 4 week series: $40-100
