Only two weeks until the 5th Annual Vermont Gear Swap & Clothing Sale on April 30th at the West Monitor Barn in Richmond. Sort through those old backpacks, tents, sleeping bags and stoves and start thinking about upgrading for the summer season and all the great outdoor activities that await. Donate, sell or consign your gear - sales and proceeds help support the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps and Burlington Sunrise Rotary. Skida, Outdoor Gear Exchange, CC Outdoor Store and Johnson Woolen Mills will be on hand with plenty of discounted new gear and clothing, and there is always an ample supply of gently used gear.
If you have any scarcely used outdoor gear (tents, packs, sleeping bags, stoves, snowshoes, etc.), or wish to upgrade, consider donating or consigning - you’ll get 80% of the sale which you can use to upgrade to something new.

Clothing sells quickly: Go through your closets and lighten your load. Coats, fleece, soft shells, hats, mittens, etc. Nearly everything went last year.
Please: no skis, snowboards or used footwear. It just does not sell well at this event.
