You may have heard of her: She led 1000 Pandemonium Drummers
at the 2012 London Olympics, and accompanied the torch bearers as they lit the Olympic Cauldron. She's won three GRAMMYs, and 80 other awards. Her TED Talk has 3.5 million hits. Her movie, "Touch the Sound" won her a BAFTA nomination.
Evelyn Glennie is a world renowned superstar and she is playing in BARRE and two other venues:

The show in Barre will feature some work by local Montpelier students, whose teachers met and worked with Glennie in the summer of 2015. under the auspices of the Creative School Initiative. Glennie will be accompanied by the Festival Orchestra, Paul Gambill, conductor. Works by Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, and Part.
