Reuben Jackson--poet and host of VPR's Friday Night Jazz, and I--Mary Elder Jacobsen--will be reading our poetry as part of the PoemCity event: POETS PULLING PRINTS, a fun evening of poetry aloud and in print, at May Day Studio (right beside the Trading Post in Mplr), where the studio's amazing letterpress artisan Kelly McMahon will have broadsides of our work available, already handset in metal type on the inked-up antique printing presses, a very cool trick of word-making to witness, and even, if you like, hand-crank yourself to print your very own copy (small donation to cover the lovely ink and paper, but all those words and even a signature for free!).
