The 4th Annual Vermonters’ Ball will take place on Saturday, April 9 from 8-11 p.m. at Hotel Vermont in Burlington. Tickets are available for $15 in advance/$20 at the door. More information is available at: http://2016vermontersball.brownpapertickets.com/

This annual event is hosted by Vermont Young Professionals, a statewide social and business networking organization. The Vermonters’ Ball is Vermont Young Professionals’ most popular connect event. The evening mixes social with professional networking—all for a good cause. Partial proceeds from the evening benefit Mobius, Vermont’s Mentoring Partnership. “VYP is pleased to partner with Mobius. Last year we were able to donate $500 to support the DREAM Project. This year, we’re hoping to do the same for another important Vermont organization. Mentoring, mentors, and volunteering are important to young professionals, so Mobius is great fit,” says Molly Hall, VYP board member and event committee chair.

In addition to raising funds for a local organization, another hallmark of this annual event is the dress code: “formalwear with Vermont flair.” Attendees don cocktail dresses and neckties paired with mud boots, camouflage and Holstein-print. Prizes are awarded for best dressed. The event includes dancing to DJ Robbie J, a photo booth, snacks and a silent auction with proceeds to benefit Mobius.
