Greetings Everyone!
We still need at least two people to make a go of the NEK Birding Adventure with the St. Albans Recreation Department.
We'll head over to the Northeast Kingdom's Moose Bog to try our luck at finding birds unique to the boreal forests in that region - the Gray Jay, Spruce Grouse, Boreal Chickadee, & Black-backed Woodpecker. We'll drive the roads near the Wenlock Wildlife Management area and Silvio Conte Wildlife Refuge by van, stopping in various habitats for short easy walks along roads, or to scope open areas and the bogs. Wear warm clothing (bring extra), and bring plenty of food and water. If you have them, we encourage you to bring your field guide, binoculars, camera, and any other optics gear you might want that day. Your guide will have a scope for participants to share. NEED 8 participants!
