“Conservation of Waterbury and Stowe’s Amphibians”

Spring is the season of many natural awakenings. At this time of year a variety of frogs and salamanders are leaving their winter residences; under logs, in the leaf litter on the forest floor, and even underground, in search of an appropriate body of water in which to begin the next generation of their species.
Join noted biologist and founder of the Vermont Reptile and Amphibian Atlas, Jim Andrews, for an evening presentation about our local amphibian populations. From identification by sight and sound to learning about what we can all do to help protect these amazing yet seldom seen creatures, Jim’s presentation is sure to educate, entertain, and amaze!

The presentation is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Waterbury Conservation Commission, Stowe Conservation Commission, Stowe Land Trust, and the Green Mountain Club. Donations to Waterbury’s Conservation Fund will be accepted.
