2nd Annual Momac Cancer Paddleathon & VT Pro Boat Challenge Oct. 6

Past event
Oct 6, 2013, 8:30 AM to 3 PM

The "Momac" for short is a cancer fund raiser, in memory of Mona Roberts, my Mom, and Mackenzie Pratt, my neice, who both lost their battles with Cancer in 2010.

It is a paddle event for paddlers of all ages and abilities, which includes both a 5 mile recreational paddle for one and all and a more serious 10 mile race for the Paddle Sport Enthusiast.

Both events start from behind the State Garage off Route 15 in Cambridge. The Recreational paddle ends at Bert's Boats Outpost and the Pro Boat Challenge continues to The Boyden Farm.

Don't own a Canoe or Kayak? Register in advanced and Berts Boats will provide one at No Charge. You simply need to paddle.

Register in advance,[especially if you need a boat] or the day of at the start point for $25 per person for Recreational Events or $40 per person for the Pro Boat Challenge.

Shuttles will be available to get people back to their cars.

All Proceeds will be donated to help support cancer research.

In our first year we donated $1500.00 despite a cold, rainy fall day.

We Thank our 50+ Area businesses for all their support.

There will be a Silent Auction for many great items, from 3 nights of accomodations and skiing from Platinum sponsor Smugglers Notch Resort to dinners out at various local Restraurants.

A T-shirt for all that participate, Random Raffle prizes for participants, and even Cash awards for the Pro boat Challenge
