This month's First Thursday Concert at Shelburne Vineyard will take place Thursday, April 7 at 6:00 pm. The Make Mentions is a group formed in 2007 by husband and wife team Brian and Christine Wichert and later joined by D Davis and Bryan Aubin. They perform music, many of them their own compositions, that range from blues harmonies with pop themes to indie rock to quieter notes and playful interludes with lots of their own harmonies. These concerts are a great way to end the week or start the weekend and admission is free and open to all ages. You can sit and listen in the upstairs Loft or mingle in the Tasting Room with friends. Admission to the concert is free. The Taco All-Stars will be selling light suppers and the Vineyard's wines and Fiddlehead beer will be available for sale by the glass. CVOEO, which addresses fundamental issues of economic, social, and racial justice and works with people to achieve economic independence will be the concert's special guests and will benefit from a portion of the beverage proceeds.
