Join Jeff Young this Saturday, April 9, at 1:00 for a shrub pruning workshop at the North Branch Nature Center, 713 Elm Street, Montpelier.

Jeff is a Master Gardener expert from the Horticulture Farm in Burlington and is the curator of the Farm's lilac collection. He will teach us the techniques of pruning shrubs and how to keep our plants healthy and productive for a long life. His discussion will touch on proper selection and care of tools, sun and soil needs and recommended protection against disease. Weather permitting, there will be an outdoor demonstration.
