The 30 member UVM Brass Ensemble will present “A Night of Brass & Percussion” concert on Friday, April 15, 2016, 7:30 pm in the Univ. of Vermont Recital Hall at Southwick Music Building, 384 South Prospect St., Burlington, VT 05405- Free Admission. We are a student run brass ensemble made up of majors, non majors, alumni and community members getting together to share our love for brass music. Come join us for a night of fun brass and percussion music. The group is directed by AJ Banach and Mei Endo, and conducted by Larry Solt. The music on the program is: Hymn to the Fallen-from “Saving Private Ryan,”John Williams; Gerudo Valley(From the Legend of Zelda), Koji Kondo; In the Hall of the Mountain King, Edvard Grieg; Fanfare and Flourishes, James Curnow; Alvamar Overture, James Barnes; Salvation is Created, Pavel Chesnokov; Agneau di Deau, Rupert Lang.
