Did you know that 43% of VT women who work full-time do not make enough to cover basic living expenses? Or that nearly half of women working full-time in VT are employed in the SAME low-paying occupations they worked in four decades ago?
If you want to fast-track women's economic well-being in VT, then join us on May 3rd for the Vermont Women's Fund Benefit Celebration!
The event features guest speaker Jodi Kantor of The New York Times, Vermont Public Radio's Jane Lindholm, and Change the Story leader Tiffany Bluemle.
What is Change The Story? It is an initiative aimed at engaging the energy and imagination of Vermonters in business, higher and secondary education, and government to achieve fundamental, lasting change.
