Castleton University Community Engagement Fair

Past event
Apr 7, 2016, 12 to 2 PM

Everyone is invited to find out more about how our Castleton and Rutland communities benefit from student involvement, particularly with volunteer work. Through its Center for Community Engagement, Castleton University students, faculty and staff deliver many hours of service to local businesses and organizations such as local schools, Castleton Community Center, and Habitat for Humanity. The Community Engagement Fair provides an opportunity for existing community partners to promote service opportunities to students. About 35 groups are expected to attend. In addition, local businesses and organizations can meet students, faculty and staff to explore partnering with the University to promote service-learning and civic engagement. This is a great opportunity to enhance community/university relationships. Hope to see you on Thursday, April 7 between 12:00 and 2:00 at the Campus Center.
