Every month the Lake Champlain Waldorf School in Shelburne hosts an Observation Day for curious parents, students, and community members.
Visitors observe classes in action and talk with teachers, parents and administrators. Of special interest in April is the opportunity to observe Michael D’Aleo, a guest lecturer who joins the high school each spring to teach Thermodynamics and Optics. Mr. D’Aleo has offered dynamic workshops at LCWS and international lectures on science, teaching enlivened science, and living with new technologies. Mr. D’Aleo is listed as an inventor on seventeen U.S. patents and, of equal merit, is highly regarded as a most inspirational teacher by youth.
Please join this special observation day on Wednesday, April 13, 8:30 – 10 am at the LCWS high school on Bostwick. There is also an Observation Morning at the Pre-K through 8th grade campus on Turtle Lane Tuesday, April 12, 8:30 - 10 am.
