It is all due to you, the people of our beloved village of Wallingford, who donated their time, local artifacts, and knowledge to the Hist. Society that enabled us to keep going forward up until now. Membership plays a key role in the existence of the Society and is a lifeline to our future programs.

We have come to the crossroads of time whereby a decision will have to be made due to low membership at this time. Programs will inevitably have to be cut due to lack of interest and lack of membership. Disbanding the Society was not an option for the Board, but a cut back in many areas could possibly occur. Your support ensures that our projects will continue, and the preservation of the history of our town will be saved. Any interest in local history whether it be categorizing photos, doing research, changing display cabinets, or coming up with ideas for future programs would help immensely. We would love to have you join us whether it is for an hour or several hours of your time. Try it, you'll like it! Come and see what our town is about.
